I really like Subaru products but as far as today I never had a good service with Subaru Outaouais and Otto's alike. I had an issue with my cameras on my Outback 2024. They had been broken when Lebeau in Hull replaced my windshield. I've been well received by Ogilvie Subaru's service department. Even if I had a good round of bad luck with my new car they've been comprehensive and everything is now working! Thanks!

Dishonest and Lacking Transparency - Will be Dealing with Otto's Instead Test drove an Outback, and were told about a fee for a security package that cost $749. We were told it would save us money on insurance and deter thieves. It saves $7 a YEAR! Asked other dealers about this - straight up cash grab. They literally write the VIN in a few spots with an etcher. We told the salesman we didn't want the package. We told the finance manager we didn't want the package. Both told us "no problem, we can take it out". After agreeing to buy the car, and right before signing, I asked if the security package had been removed. It hadn't. The story changed to having to check with the sales manager, Julia. Julia told us it is in every deal, and she won't be removing it. Period. No discussion. End of story. So, they lost a deal. We wasted days of our time, hours traveling, and the fuel to get there. Lots of apologies from the GM, but no offer to remove the security package, and apologies certainly don't get me my time or money back, do they? Our only recourse is sharing the information. Transparency is a must in these businesses, and they are failing. Otto's sold us a car the day before, and we had no issues. Thankfully! We really do like Subaru, and had hoped to deal with Ogilvie. Will review Otto's next.

We met with Rasa twice, although we did not end up buying a new Subaru we are currently on the market for a used one. We had amazing experience on both occasion. He took the time between two appointments to answer some questions and a test drive. He provided us with useful information and was genuine in his character. After waiting for a new car for 14 months at another dealership, we decided to check out a Subaru to see if anything was suitable for us. Although we had no appointment, we were warmly welcomed by Umut and we walked out of the dealership an hour later with our sale papers in hand! Returned 4 days later to pick up our 2023 Ascent (which was a fantastic deal). Umut was very friendly and helpful, and Fawaz laid out all our options for us without any sales pressure. We love our new vehicle and will recommend Ogilvie Subaru to our family and friends.

On the surface, the sales team and service seem like a great bunch, however after my boyfriend purchased a used 2016 legacy everything fell apart. This dealership was at the time(maybe still are) was ran by the Alpha Group. If people don’t know… stay away from the alpha group. They are a poorly ran company. They owed the KIA in petawawa Ontario and ran it into the ground and left massive unpaid bills from vendors. I wish I had known they owned this Subaru dealership before my boyfriend signed the dotted line. We setup a delivery date, took time off work and the NIGHT BEFORE we get a call saying that the DETAILER noticed the engine wasn’t running great and the mechanic took another look and found a faulty ignition coil and delivery needs to be postponed another week. Fawaz at that time mentioned that the car was in a hail storm and wanted us to know, but yet this was the first time mentioned it, AFTER a deposit was already paid… ? But he reassured us they vehicle was fully fixed and no damage was on the vehicle. - I will say the car exterior was perfect, no issues. I week later when my boyfriend and I drove 2 hours to get to the dealership to pick up his new used vehicle, first thing I noticed was the alloy rims were NOT on the vehicle. I of course questioned this, Paul(sales guy who no longer works there… conveniently for them, not us) says, “oh, we are waiting on back ordered tires, but we can store these tires free of charge!” I at that point explained I am a mechanic and we did not need nor want the tire storage. - why they didn’t mention this the week prior when they needed to postpone the delivery date, seeing we would have waited until the vehicle was FULLY READY! Second thing noticed, was cut on the drivers front seat, not in the photos or mentioned by the finance sales manager, fawaz (who we dealt with the entire time until the actually pick up of the vehicle, which he handed over to Paul) Third, there were spots all over the headliner, which was missed by the detailer. They said at that point, we could bring it back in for a free detailing when we came to get the wheels(which we should never have had to make a second trip 150-200kms ONE WAY) My boyfriend returned by himself to pick up the wheels and get the detailing fixed… On his way to Ottawa area, cruising down the highway, his windshield cracked. He brought this up when he got there, but they said, “oh there’s no way we can verify it wasn’t rock damage as you drove down” — common really? The vehicle was in a hail storm, which they admitted and we only had the car 2 weeks… they of course wouldn’t do anything They loaded his summer wheels(in bags) into the vehicle for him… nice of them to do that… well there a reason for that…. These were not new tires that they waited for because they were “back ordered” … when I went to install them this past spring, the tires had tire chalk written on them “USED” NO centre caps and 2 of them Were worn down with extremely bad toe wear.. which I noticed they installed them onto the rim so the toe wear was facing the center in the vehicle, most likely so if THEY installed them, we wouldn’t notice? We contact this dealership over half a dozen times, messages left for the finance manager, fawaz and the general manager but they NEVER once returned our calls or emails. Jon in the service department seemed decent at first and apologized for the experience we were having. We explained everything and asked about the center caps. Jon said he would mail us the missing center caps to avoid the travel but said as per the summer tires since it wasn’t written in the paperwork there was nothing he could do. Now it has been 5 months since then and still have NEVER received the center caps. This dealership and alpha group company are a f-ing joke. BE CAREFUL, Do your homework, and make sure EVERYTHING IN WRITTEN IN THE DEAL BEFORE YOU SIGN… sales people can be professional legal scam artist and Ogilvie Subaru takes the win for biggest screw arounds I’ve ever dealt with in my time so far. BEWEAR OF OGILVIE SUBARU & the Alpha GROUP!

After the first BRZ that I ordered was annihilated in a hail storm, I was super lucky to find this one available at Ogilvie Subaru. Lourdes was great and helped me through the sales process. I got the car three days later and still can't believe it!
